The rules.
Plain and simple.

2.1 Eligibility. You must be at least 16 years old and capable of entering a legally binding agreement to use Altias. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement.

2.2 Accuracy. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep your account details up to date. Accounts created with false information may be suspended.

2.3 Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@altias.io if you suspect unauthorised access.

2.4 One account per person. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits or suspensions.

4.1 Altias IP. The Altias platform, including its code, design, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by Altias. These terms do not grant you any right to use Altias's branding or intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the Service.

4.2 Your data. You own all analytics data collected for your sites. Altias has no claim over it. We process it solely to provide you with the Service, as described in the Data Processing Agreement.

4.3 Feedback. If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Service, you grant Altias a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that feedback to improve the Service. You retain no IP rights over incorporated feedback.

5.1 Altias is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

5.2 We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that analytics data will be complete and accurate at all times. Browser ad-blockers and privacy tools may prevent some pageviews from being tracked — this is expected behaviour.

5.3 Altias is not responsible for the content of websites on which you install the Snippet, nor for any data privacy obligations you may have toward your own visitors.

6.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Altias and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — including lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of data.

6.2 Altias's total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to Altias in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) €50.

6.3 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Altias from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from: your violation of these terms, your use of the Service, or your violation of any third-party rights.

7.1 By you. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Upon deletion, all your sites and their associated analytics data are permanently removed immediately. No refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period on paid plans.

7.2 By Altias. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if continued service creates legal or technical risk. We will make reasonable efforts to give advance notice except where immediate action is necessary.

7.3 Effect of termination. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 4.1, 4.3, 5, 6, and 8 survive termination.

8.1 We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice by email to your registered address before the new terms take effect.

8.2 Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated terms constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you should delete your account before the effective date.

8.3 Non-material changes (e.g. typo fixes, clarifications that do not alter rights or obligations) may be made without notice and take effect immediately.

9.1 These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9.2 Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably by contacting us at legal@altias.io. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Romania.

9.3 If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
